Resources & Support
We have had patients with a wide range of eye diseases and injuries, many of whom have needed support on their journey. Kind Eyes is here to help throughout your prosthetics journey, and we are prepared to answer any questions or ease your mind on any worries you may have. However, outside of this we understand that you might have wider questions about your vision, illness, injury or more. With this in mind, we have listed support groups and charities we have first-hand experience with and can recommend.
Changing Faces - A charity that provides support and promotes respect for everyone who has a visible difference.
CHECT (Childhood Eye Cancer Trust) - A charity supporting families affected by retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer.
MACS (Microphthalmia, Anophthalmia & Coloboma Supports) - A charity supporting children and adults born without eyes or with underdeveloped eyes.
OcuMel UK - A charity supporting those affected by ocular melanoma.
RNIB (Royal National Institute of Bling People) - A charity committed to helping blind and partially sighted people.
